Give a talk

Whether it be a compulsory talk to your geography class or an optional lunchtime debate or a whole year assembly, giving talks is a great way to engage and educate a large group of people about an issue you're passionate aout.

Tips:

  • Have minimal writing on slides (mainly pictures) and instead explain your points verbally (hte audiencec can't listen to you and read the slides at the same time)

  • Ask lots of questions and include debates to make sure the audience in engaged

  • Speak slowly and clearly

  • Break up the presentation with a video

This is a website built to be a free, accessible data set of resources for eco groups at secondary schools. It will hopefully grow as more people add their projects and ideas, and we can create a network of school groups all fighting for change.
